Are Goals Enough?
Ive outlined in this article you will be well on your way to becoming successful in your personal and professional life. The first thing that needs to be done before writing goals down is GET your head straight.
A goal, without a plan for how you intend to reach the goal, is little more than wishful thinking. Goals will help your brain decide between choices A and B. But a plan creates entirely new optionsC, D, and Efor your brain to choose between, and then makes your path so clear that, half the time, your brain doesnt even need to make a choice, just as you dont need to make many conscious choices about which route to take when you are driving a familiar route, such as between home and work. Goal setting is more than simply scribbling down some ideas on a piece of paper. Our goals need to be complete and focused, much like a road map, and that is the purpose behind the rest of this article.

The Secret: Set Goals
The MIRACLE to goal setting is to have full and complete FAITH and BELIEF that you can ACCOMPLISH that goal. Visionualization is very important; IMAGINE the end before the beginning. (Picture yourself having, being, or doing whatever you want)
Without this MINDSET youre doomed before you start. Write your goal in the POSITIVE instead of the negative. Thinking positively in everyday life will also help in your growth as a human being. Your subconscious mind is a very efficient tool, it cannot determine right from wrong and it does not judge. Its only function is to carry out its instructions. The more positive instructions you give it, the more positive results you will get. If you find yourself faced with substantial resistance and negativity, look carefully to make sure that you really want the goal. Getting what you really want should create enthusiasm and energy. Here a few of my goals:
Five-year goal: Become a World Class speaker
One-year goal: Give 3 speeches a month
Six-month goal: Have 3 thousand followers
One-month goal: Create 15 articles on different topics
One-week goal: Complete article for blog
What do you really want?
Make sure the goal you are working for is something you really want does or get, dont set a goal that just sounds good for the moment. There are 3 areas of your life were goal setting creates SKYROCKET results. PERSONAL, CAREER OR BUSINESS GOALS, and ECONOMIC goals is one of the KEYS to having a happy and fulfill life. Master those 3 areas to IMPROVE your quality of living. When setting goals it is very important to remember that your goals must be consistent with your values. Goal setting is an important method of:
Deciding what you want to achieve in your life.
Separating whats important from whats irrelevant, or a distraction.
Motivating yourself.
Building your self-confidence, based on successful achievement of goals.
What does personal goals look like?
Money
This is the biggie. Money goal is a great tool to have, it helps you get a clearer picture on how much money you want to make a month or year this task will give you instant motivation. When setting money goals set yourself up to HIT the goal. Most importantly always set goals that you believe you can achieve, because doing it this way will build confidence. If you set no other new personal goals, examine setting this one.
Career/Business
Here are a few questions you should ask yourself, that will be very helpful in creating career and business goals:
1.Do I enjoy my current career or job?2.Am I progressing in my business?3.Am I developing the skills and knowledge to be competitive in my chosen profession or business?4.Do I have a plan for setting business or career goals, and monitoring my progress?Relationships
When you think about it relationships are all about goal setting. Once you have past that first stage of dating and falling in love you both start focusing on the goals you each have for the relationship. One of the main reasons many couples break up is they never shared their relationship goals with each other. Most people just let the relationship do its own work and flow naturally. These practices will help keep your union in a happy, healthy place.

Unconditional love
With that easy goal setting technique you will be able to turn your energy in the right direction, increasing your persistence and boosting self-confidence at the same time. Remember, If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!
