Personal growth and inspiration should be a vital byproduct of all your interpersonal relationships.
Face it.
If you are not personally growing it means you are stagnating (or worse) in all those situations.
You also have to admit that while any relationship should benefit everyone involved it is what you personally get from it that is your primary concern.
Codependent Relationship
It is fine to be dependent upon each other in your various situations. After all, many things in life are a two-way street.
Even a divorce relationship can offer intellectual, spiritual, and moral growth if you pay attention and look for it. However, most people do not.
A healthy relationship fosters personal improvement while an abusive one stifles it. Of course, in an abusive situation you should consider letting go of those circumstances as soon as possible.
Love Tests
Love tests may help to get your relationship problems solved but they offer much more in the way of personal growth and inspiration.
Simply ask yourself:
Am I getting what I want from this relationship?
Is it possible for me to get what I want from this situation or is the other person or persons involved unwilling to provide my needs?
Is there a better way or association out there that can supply what I so crave and will make me happy?
Determining your relationship compatibility by truthfully answering these questions offers insight into your own psyche.
If your various relationships are not giving you personal growth and inspiration you should reconsider those situations.
