I prefer to differentiate between the two for my own purposes and those I work with. Goals are usually more general in nature and less tangible. Objectives tend to be more specific and “visionable.” I think I might have made that word up, but it suits my definition so I’m using creative license here. What I mean by that term, “visionable” is that you can picture the objective in your mind – see it, hear it, taste it and feel it. I like to think of goals as “big picture” ideas. Objectives are more nitty-gritty.

For example, I want to lose 20 pounds by January 1st is a decent goal. It meets all the S.M.A.R.T. requirements. But it’s sort of “flat.” I will lose 20 pounds so that I can fit into my size “whatever” pants, be healthy and run a 5k by January 1st is a better objective. You can almost see yourself wearing your smaller pants and feel the exhilaration of running that race. It is more “real” and therefore much more effective for our purposes. I am not knocking goals, but for today let’s focus on clarifying your objectives instead.

Let’s try another example. I intend to start my own business, replace my income and quit my job by June 1st. Okay.

What does the objective look like?

What type and form of business?
What is the real purpose or intention?
What is the specific amount of income needed?
What will your work schedule look like?
What will your work environment consist of? At home or in office?
Will you have employees?

I intend to start a catering business for parties operating out of my home kitchen by June 1st. I will employ two part time employees and gross $200,000 annually.

Do you see the difference? This objective is much clearer and more “real” to me. This also makes it much more motivating and actionable.

Take a look at each one of your objectives and make sure it is so clear you can almost reach out and touch it!

This is part of an ongoing discussion on my rules to maximize productivity. In fact, we all want to live in abundance and in prosperity but sometimes we tend to chase things that we desire most and yet still end up not contented and unhappy.

If living an abundant life is one of your goals in life, it is important that you have to define what you want and what life of abundance is to you. In fact, abundance in life is not all becoming rich materially. Most of the time, abundance comes not from the wealth that we get but from our attitude towards what we have. To help you find prosperity and abundance in life, here are a few tips and ideas.

Wealth is not just about having a steady source of money. Of course, we all need to have a steady income to be able to pay for our basic needs and necessities but it is important that we understand what can make us happy and what can make us become prosperous in life.

- Be happy with what you have. Sometimes we are too focused on what can make us happy and what we still don’t have. Instead of looking for and chasing what you think can make your life abundant, why not start first on counting your blessings. Learning to be happy of what you have is indeed the first step towards attaining fulfillment and abundance in life.

- Don’t equate wealth with material ones. When we say abundance, we often associate it with lots of money and all the material things that we want in life, but you have to keep in mind that wealth does not necessarily mean material things. Of course, it includes having enough for your basic needs and necessities but it also means having the fulfillment and contentment in your life. If you have the resources enough to take care of you and your family’s needs, and you are happy in all aspects of your life, then you will most likely see the abundance in your life.

- Learn to manage your finances. Although living an abundant life is not just all about money, being able to provide for the needs of the family is also a part of being prosperous in life. You don’t have to have millions and several bank accounts but being able to provide for your needs can truly help you. One way to do this is to budget your money and make a sound financial plan. Prioritize your needs and make sure that you also make savings as well.

- Know your strengths and grab great opportunities that may come your way. Of course, you have to do something to attain abundance and fulfillment in your life. By knowing your strengths and what you can do well, you can identify great opportunities in your life that will help you attain your goals of prosperity.

If you are looking for a great guide to help you live a prosperous life, check out Keys To A Prosperous Life. Also check out A Powerful Life, where you can find Wallace Wattles writings to inspire you through life.

Goal Setting – Long, Medium and Short Term Goals

self improvement

100k

Achieving Goals

Achieving Your Goals

Break

Collings

Financial Goal

Generations

Goal Setting

Goals Program

Health

Key Areas

Net Worth

New Years Eve

Scope

Setting Goals

Side Business

Term Goals

Time Frame

Time Goal

Writing Goals

Goal Setting – Long, Medium and Short Term Goals (Andrew Collings) Most experts agree that anything can be achieved through goal setting. However, if you are like most people, you may have tried a goal setting program in the past and not succeeded. You may have set goals in a very happy and possibly inebriated state on New Years Eve and promised yourself that this is going to be the year you will achieve your goals – however by the end of the year the goals have not been achieved, and the list you set on new years eve is nowhere to be found.

Today dear reader, we are going to explore goal setting and share a goal setting secret that has been used by successful individuals for generations. A system that with only an hour or so a week, you will be achieving your goals in no time.

Goal setting generally consists of writing down goals and revisiting them. In order to achieve their goals successful people take this further. They have four to five main generic goals in their lives and break these down into more achievable components and goals. There program is broken down into five components for you to use as detailed below:

Long Term Goals (eg 7 – 15 years): At this level the goals are more generic and generally deal with four key areas of your life, for example, Health, Financial, Family and Social. A goal at this level under financial may be to have a net worth of $10million dollars.

Yearly Goals: These goals are written generically but within the scope of a one year time frame. The goals again contribute to the four or five aspects of your life (studies have shown that four to five areas achieves the most success). Ask yourself what you are going to have to do in the next year to achieve your goals. For example, under the above financial goal, you may state that you have to increase your net wealth by $100k. To do this you may decide that setting up your own side business is the way to go. As such, your yearly goal would be to set up a side business (in a certain field), that builds $100k worth of wealth. A good number of yearly goals is around 8-10.

Monthly Goals: We are now starting to get into the specifics of goal settings. This is where you provide the details of how you are going to achieve your yearly goals. Ascertain what you would have to do each month to achieve the goals.

Weekly Goals: Weekly is similar to monthly specific goals. Again write what you will have to achieve each week to meet your monthly goals.

Daily Goal and to do list: This is the base level of goal setting, and is the most important. This is where you take action. When starting your day, look at your 7-15 year goals, your yearly goals, your monthly goals and your weekly goals. Write a list of what you will need to do today to move yourself closer to your goal. On your to do list, highlight the key tasks that you will need to complete today. Focus on these tasks first.

And that the system in a nutshell. To recap, Develop 7-15 year goals (around four) that are a sentence each. Develop yearly goals (around 8-10) that sit under your four main goals (a few paragraphs each). Write what you will need to do each month to achieve your 8 – 10 goals). Write what you will need to achieve each week to achieve your monthly goals. Write a “to do list” at the start of each day, after reading all of your other goals. Highlight the activities on your “to do list” that will bring you closer to achieving your goals and do these first.

The system is successful because it first ascertains what you want to achieve in your life, and then provides specific goals, first at a larger time frame and then more specific to help you achieve your life time goals.

If you just write down what you want to achieve (eg have $1million in a bank account) without ascertaining the reasons why you want this, then it is more likely that your goal will come unstuck.

Good luck with your goal setting!!!

 -
About the Author:
Andrew Collings is the founder of www.defeatthegrind.com (a weekly self help, health and parenting ezine) and has over 10 years experience in self help, health and parenting. Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why you’re having trouble completing your goals, dreams, projects, or even simple tasks?

The obvious answer is that you may have too much on your plate. Every time you have good intentions to live your dream, successfully complete that project, or reach that life-changing goal, does LIFE seem to get in the way?

This begs another question; can you ever learn to proficiently finish what you start? It also leads one to ask; are there others who already achieve success in their lives and are just more capable than you?

The funny thing is that you’re probably reading this because you are someone who is already smart, driven, focused, ambitious, and has amazing goals set for them self. But somehow you can never manage to make your dream or goal a priority, it always seems to end up on the back burner, and it feels like you’re constantly playing catch up.

Question: Are you someone who has an amazing goal, dream or invention that’s been sitting on the shelf gathering dust, and right now it is nothing more than a great conversation piece or story you tell to others at dinner parties?

If your answer is yes, then you need to keep reading.

There is no formula that successful people poses that you too couldn’t have. Success also has little to do with money, education, or family connections.

And it has nothing to do with luck. In fact, let’s get “luck” out of your vocabulary from here on out for the rest of your life. Things don’t happen to you, they happen as a result of you.

Those lucky guys at Google who made billions. That lucky starlet who is in every major motion picture. That lucky entrepreneur who always seems to be on vacation. That lucky guy who put his name in a hat and won a brand new Aston Martin. Keep in mind that for every rule there will always be exceptions to the rule. And while there are exceptions to every rule in life, they are not the norm. And nine out of ten times when you come across someone you think has been lucky, it’s more likely that they’ve worked their butt off to reach their goals and enjoy the dream they set out to achieve. You never saw the work that went into their amazing results. You’re most likely seeing them at the end result. Remember, we see only ten percent of an iceberg. The other ninety percent (aka hard work) lays below the surface.

While success is hard work, it doesn’t mean you have to work hard. What is does mean however, is that you have to be willing to be persistent in reaching your goals. Often the difference between those who are successful and those who fail is small. Often successful people keep pushing forward long after others have given up. And remember, a race isn’t won in miles, it’s won in nanoseconds. That means that though you may not see it, the finish line may be just around the corner.

But right now we are talking about how to finish what you start; successfully. To do that, we need to examine your current habits and practices.

Most people who can’t seem to finish what they start often use the excuse of not having enough time. Said a different way, they are not good at Time Management.

If you fall into this category then you’re not alone. If this is you, then it’s not too late for you to learn how to become someone who finds they can have much more free time they thought. However, you are going to have to learn some new habits. It may seem hard at first but actually they are simple to master and once you’ve mastered these simple techniques you’ll find you are free-er, and suddenly you have more time available to take care of what you’ve been putting off in the past. You may suddenly find you have time to even take a nap.

The first step is to take a look at how many non-essential things you do every day. These are the things that can be big time wasters and may seem important to you on the surface, but are ultimately the very things that suck up all the VALUABLE time from your days.

The first of these is email. Now before you jump down my throat and say, “It’s part of my job. How am I supposed to do my job without email?”

For some this may be true, but to an extent. Perhaps it’s waiting for an important contract, or expecting a reply to your business proposal. But ask yourself if it is really essential or even necessary for you to be glued to the computer or your crack-berry device at all times? Probably not.

And since email is not an essential part of everyone’s life, you CAN train yourself to wean yourself from that time-sucking electronic device.

Think about it. Honestly ask yourself how many of those “Must Do” emails are, in fact, someone else’s request of something from you, yet it has little to do with you? Take a moment and think hard. Really take the time to look through them and see which ones are essential to your life or career and which ones are actually time wasters? Don’t get me wrong, it’s ok to respond to a friend or colleague and offer advice and assistance. But do you really have to do it all the time, and worse, at the very moment it arrives at your In-Box? Again, probably not.

We humans can easily get distracted. Each day there are thousands of things every minute that attack our senses and take the focus off of what’s right at hand. Sights, sounds, smells, the weather, a shirt tag poking at your back, a baby screaming, a horn honking, a pretty girl or handsome guy walking by, all can become distracters. So can an email telling you that you’ve just WON a trip to Australia!

What if instead you could manage your emails and only handling them two, three, (or if absolutely necessary) four times a day, at specific times, and that’s all? What if you could stop glancing at your cell phone every time it buzzes or chimes with a new email message? How much more FREE time would you then be able to create for yourself EVERYDAY?

For many who are reading this it will be a big challenge at first. But ask yourself how important it is for you to REALLY finish what you start? Look at the past three years of your life. Have you made considerable strides to further yourself, your career, your goals, or are you finding you’re still stuck in “catch up” mode?

Instead, try an experiment for just one week. Just ONE WEEK. Start slow and choose only four times a day to respond to your emails. Just FOUR. No more. Pick four times that will not interfere with anything else you have going on. Just email. And don’t’ cheat by keeping your cell in your hand. If you decide that two of the times per day are going to be used responding to email via your cell phone, then once you are done, no more cell emails. That’s it.

Next, Pick one hour twice a week to clean up your email box. You should never have more than 50 emails, (I can actually hear you throwing up your hands right now, but stick with me).

We live in an age of technology and automation. You probably have an email system that can automatically place most of your emails in archived folders for you. e.g. If you get a lot of emails from Bob, create a “Bob” folder for all of his emails. I mean seriously, do they really need to be kept with all the other (non-essential) emails?

Get in the habit of deleting those emails that are least important. Here’s a good rule of thumb. Like with clothing, if you find you are not wearing something after six months, donate it. The same idea goes for emails. If you find you’re not readdressing an email or using it after, let’s say, four weeks, file it or trash it immediately.

As I said, this habit will be hard for you at first but stick with it. You’ll soon find that it’s not as painful as you first thought and that the world did not end. In fact, you may find for the first time in your life that you are actually seeing and enjoying the world you live in.

This next step we’re going to discuss will make the dread of this new email regime seem like a cakewalk. Next you are going to limit and curtail your texting habits.

Again, think about how many non-essential texts you do every day. Every minute. Every second!

Today we live in an immediate world where everything is now or yesterday. Rush, rush, rush. But just how productive is that for most people? Think about how much more productive and creative we were before television, cell phones, and email? You may not have been around then but certainly you can see and agree why we had so many more successful painters, sculptors, creators, and inventors, before the masses became glued to these time-sucking devices. Instead, days were typically filled with writing, socializing, creating, exploring, family, travel, charity work, and mentoring. Long before cell phones existed, telephone calls were limited to just a couple times a day. And we did just fine! And, there was no texting!

Don’t get me wrong, these devices all have their merits and can be useful. But we are addressing the goal of finishing what you start and what can keep you from enjoying the benefits of completion.

Examine a day’s worth of texting to really look at how many were absolutely necessary? How many were fun socializing? And how many were from someone asking something of you?

This time I’m not going to hold your hand. I cannot limit you to doing this time-sucking task to only four times a day. But I will suggest however, that you try to leave your cell phone either in the car or at home whenever you can.

If you are going to the movies, make an effort to leave it on your car. Not your purse, your car. If you are going to dinner with friends or family, leave it in your car. Not your purse, your car. If you are at home and sitting with a family member or friend, it’s a great opportunity to leave your cell phone in the other room.

If a call comes in by all means answer it if absolutely necessary. But getting into the habit of not always having it with you can free you up in more ways than you realize, and like the first time you were told that you had to wear a seatbelt, at first you resisted, but eventually you got into the habit.

Next on your Finish What You Start list is to unlearn multitasking. By doing this you will no longer be a victim of overwhelm.

Often , one task cannot be accomplished until another task has first been completed. Sometimes the accomplishment of a single task can be the catalyst in the entire process that streamlines all the other tasks you must handle and catapults you even faster to the finish line.

To successfully become a Jedi project master who reaches their goals every time you will need to create a project list. Specifically on a piece of paper that you will keep with you throughout your day. This list cannot be kept on your computer, though you may use your computer to type it up. Also, it cannot be kept on your cell phone.

Two things are at work here. By writing your tasks, projects, errands, and goals down onto a piece of paper, you create a process within your subconscious that begins the job of figuring out the best way to handle these goals. Second, if you can train yourself to write down these projects the night before, during the evening you will come up with the best way to perform these tasks.

We are visual by nature. With very few exceptions we think in images and pictures. When you write down for example “pick up the dry cleaning”, as one of your errands, you actually visualize that dry cleaning establishment within your mind. Or even the clothes you are picking up. Even if it’s just for a nanosecond. By writing your tasks out the night before, you create a system within your mind of the best method to efficiently and productively handle your projects.

An important MUST technique is when you do create your list, whether it consists of projects, goals, dreams, tasks, errands, objectives, or a combination of them all, you must never write down more than ten (10) items per day. It doesn’t matter if you’re already a master at doing tasks, keep it to ten (10). The reason behind this as you will see is vital to your Finish What You Start success.

If your list does contains more than ten things you’ll look at it and instantly begin to feel overwhelmed. This can happen on a subconscious level at first, but soon the results will also creep into your conscious mind and begin to drag your energy and enthusiasm down. This can also constrict your creativity as well.

The second reason you want to keep the list to only ten (10) items is that you want to create a habit of GOAL REACHING accomplishment within you. By seeing your task, goals, and objectives completed, you create new muscles within you that become mission driven and you start to see how really easy it is to get things done. You become more empowered. In no time you will build drive, momentum, and creative power within you.

Once an item on your list in completed, check it off and/or cross it off your list. Do this in a way where you can still see the completed task. In other words, don’t black it out entirely. Again, this creates a sense of accomplishment and unstoppable power within you. At the end of the day you are going to really see how much you’ve accomplished and how farther along you now are.

Often you may have a couple items left on your list that have not been completed. If you do have items that haven’t been completed at the day’s end, do not hang onto that list and carry it with you the next day. Instead, you’ll want to create a brand new list and add these few incomplete items to it. Beginning with a fresh piece of paper each day rather than hanging onto an old one builds within you a sense of completion and you find you’re becoming someone who can master any project. And, that you are no longer someone who has a lot of unfinished projects left on his plate.

Exercise: Keep a small journal for one week of a list of all the non-essential time-wasters that you have in your life. Do this much in the same way that you would journaling or tracking your finances & purchases. By the end of the week you should be able to truly examine everything that you can eliminate in your life or that’s keeping you from reaching your SUCCESS goals.

Finishing what you start is about a simple process:

Having a GOAL, PROJECT, or OBJECTIVE
Making a DECISION that this is something you must accomplish
Taking time to PLAN the process
Taking ACTION towards achieving it
Being PERSISTENT (this is the key difference between those who are successful and those who quit)
Having no HESITATION – By taking action and moving forward even if you have fear or anxiety (fear is only a feeling)
Checking in with others often on your progress (feeling alone can keep you locked in a vacuum)

Here’s an important distinction: Urgent tasks are those things that you must do immediately like phone calls, emergencies, interruptions, the demands of your boss or customer. The “In your face” things that require your “urgent” attention. These things are determined by external pressures and requirements.

Important tasks however, are those things that contribute to reaching your own goals and that contribute to your long term future: planning, organizing, studying, researching your project or customers, and setting priorities before you begin.

Then there are also the tasks that are urgent but not important such as the ringing telephone, a trivial text, someone who wants to socialize or chat. These things bring no results!

Remember, managing time is managing yourself. If you are someone who wants to finish what you start but could never figure out how to do it, here’s your chance.

Want a great tip? This is one I learned from my mentor, Brian Tracy. Keep the word “Consequences” firmly fixed in your mind.

If you still can’t figure out which emails, texts, phone calls or tasks are the important ones, remember the word “consequences”.

Think to yourself, “What are the consequences if I do this particular task or activity?” The greater the possible consequence, the more important it is. Said another way, if the actions of what you do bring the results of what you want then it is an important task. If however, on the other hand, you are in the same place you were before or find you are now farther behind, then the task or action is not an important one.

Said in plain English: If you want to finish what you start, stop creating tasks, activities, or projects that get you nowhere. These things might make you feel valuable but they add nothing of importance to your life. And they don’t move you forward. However, if you make your dreams and goals the priority, you will find you are miles farther than ever before.

Strangely enough most people who practice these tools find that they have much more time to socialize, play and do more of the things that once sucked up all their time and kept them from enjoying LIFE.

I hope this resonates with you and gives you some great new tools to take your goals to the next level. If you feel that you want to go even deeper and really become someone who wants to be a master of their life instead of the other way around, I invite you to read my book, Finish What You Start. Always Make Meaningful Goals – Goal setting for the sake of goal setting almost always ends in disappointment. Goal setting is simply a tool to use in achieving a favourable outcome what some people call a “Dream”.

2. Positive Approach Goes A Long Way – Use positive language and the present tense when setting a goal. It is better to say “I weigh a healthy, trim and fit 185 pounds” than “I want to lose 20 pounds”.

3. Jot Down Your Goals – Always put your goals in writing. Every expert agrees that setting a goal without putting it in writing drastically reduces your chances of success. Writing down the goal would help you to concentrate on achieving your goals while keeping away from other distractions.

4. Set Goals For Overall Upturn – Goal setting should take place in every area of your life, including Health, Relationships, Spiritual, Career and Financial. Set Weight Loss Goal, Financial Goals and Fitness Goals. Setting these goals will add dimension, excitement and texture to your life.

5. Set Short Term Goals – Whenever you have to achieve a big success you need to split the ultimate goal into several short-term goals, and these small goals have to be achieved in a specific time frame. The most effective goal setting system is one that gives you a place to write out a goal and then have sub-goals and then a list of action items that can be sorted according to date. With a feature like this you will be able to check off what was done and what is overdue.

6. Be Ready To Face Failure & Make Improvements – Failure doesn’t always mean that you did something wrong in your goal setting or implementation. It may just mean that the time you allotted for success wasn’t adequate. A thorough review process should be undertaken before setting the goal again.

 -
About the Author:
VT is an author of SETnGOAL; Visit the site (http://www.setngoal.com/) for more information about Tips For Setting Goals

Article Source

IN SEARCH OF YOURSELF

self improvement

Article Source

Benefit

Darling

Engineer

English Novel

English Novels

Experiencing Life

Mama

Office Job

School History

Wastage

When i was a child, mama used to hug and say,”darling you are going to be a doctor one day so work hard for it”.somebody else would say,”you should become an engineer when you grow up “and i always ended up thinking what i wanted to be?” There are many types of human relationship like relationship between husband and wife, relationship between parents and child, relationship between boyfriend and girlfriend, relationship between friends and many more. Let’s explore more on what does it mean by building trust in a relationship.

Human beings are fundamentally social creatures. They need to have physical and physiological interactions. These interactions are what we called relationships. There are different classifications of relationships. You have the casual relationship, intimate relationship, business relationship and other classification of relationship.

When we talked about building trust in a relationship, we are generally talking about intimate relationship where the relationship is a particularly close interpersonal relationship in which the participants know and trust each other very well or are confidance of one another or a relationship where there is physical or emotional intimacy. This is where in intimate relationship – building trust in a relationship is very important for the relationship to grow and blossom.

The keyword in building trust is the word dependable. You must be dependable for the other person in the relationship to put his or her trust in you in the particular relationship.

Can I trust you to be faithful to me — meaning can I depend on you? Can I trust you to be there for me — meaning can I depend on you? Can I trust you to protect me — meaning can I depend on you? Can I trust you to be honest with me — meaning can I depend on you?

Building trust is not by words or intentions. Building trust is by your deeds or actions. Refuse to sit back and watch your dreams dwindle away into the air. It is time for you to live your life the way that you deserve to live it. It is time for you to make it happen! Your goals and dreams not happening for you is no longer an option!

If you have ever had a moment where you have felt like you missed it, then you were wrong! You have not missed it. You are still a goal-getter. You still can achieve your dreams. You can still do all that you want to do, and be all that you desire to be. You have the internal power to succeed. So activate your power and make it happen!

It would be wonderful if our dreams and goals rang our doorbell in search of us. But that does not happen. It is up to us to take the necessary steps that bring us closer to the things that we desire to accomplish. And always remember that no goal or dream is too small!

And sometimes you have to stretch your faith to reach your dreams. That stretch allows you to push and press through challenges and obstacles. When we empower our dreams and goals with faith true transformation happens. Because we are no longer trying to use our own power to make things happen, but faith is our driving force. That can be a real secret to success!

And if things haven’t happen for you yet, a delay is not a denial. You still have so many great things that are waiting for you. So don’t give in and don’t quit! Stay in the boxing ring and defeat the opponent of discouragement. Develop unstoppable confidence and be determined to live from a place of victory. And with that type of mindset you will find yourself getting closer and closer to your dreams and goals with each day that passes.

Do you truly know that you have the power within to live a fulfilled and empowered life? Do you truly know that you are an amazing person filled with destiny and purpose? Do you truly know that it is time to push the fast forward button in your life? Do you truly know that it is your time to experience all of the great things that you deserve? I hope that you answered yes!

And for the record, it doesn’t matter where you have been. What matters is where you are going. So don’t keep a resume listing all of your past mistakes, or any other things that are not going to help you move forward.

Just take a deep breath, believe in yourself and make it happen!

Dr. Shauntel Peak-Jimenez is a Certified Life Coach for women and Certified Coach Trainer. But as you leaf through the pages of books or through the different websites that offer same advices, you will realize how much complex the process really is.

This is more true as you age and you are faced with the kinds of dilemmas that will make you want to give up at times. How do you think are you going to be able to move forward when life is giving you no reasons to do so? What will make you conquer the hurdles that you are faced with when no one seems to care if you do?

So what is your life’s purpose? You will soon realize that this is one tough situation. But you must remember that you are not the only one who goes through such. If you feel at lost and don’t know what to do, one thing can lead you to where you should go and that is your purpose.

Life’s Purpose

You are here for a reason. It does not matter where you come from, what you look like or what kinds of hurdles you are faced with. Different people may have different beliefs when it comes to religion and theories of roots and beginnings. But you have to find the one thing that will define you as you age. You have to find the reason why you are here in the first place. You have to know your purpose to know where life is leading you or where you want to be led.

Here are some suggestions that you can take in order to start your quest into finding your purpose.

1. Acceptance. You have to accept who you are, what can you do and love yourself despite your imperfections. After you have learned to do this, you will understand things better. You will be able to look at things from a different perspective. You will also be able to see things clearly by knowing your strengths and limitations.

2. Gratitude. Look at things around you. Look at what you have and the things that you don’t. Look at other people and how they live their lives. You must learn to appreciate the things that makes you similar and sets you apart from the rest. You must learn to give credit where it is due and place importance on the vital aspects that constitutes who you are and what can you do.

3. Perseverance. Life is a continuous journey. Sometimes the roads may seem to hard to take. But that should not stop you from going through them and attaining your goal. You must find a fuel or the force that will drive you to keep moving and keep going on despite the situation. Just think about what you will gain in the process. And you must also feel good in knowing that after the dark or hard days, some light and brightness will come in to make the ride easier for you to make.

4. Set a goal. What do you want to achieve in life? What is the ultimate goal that you want to attain as you get older? These are some questions that can take years before you can settle for an answer. But the answer, when you have already found it, will make you appreciate your hard work and will give meaning to everything that you do and work hard to attain. It will also give you more reasons in loving life.
