Your Perfect Gay Wedding - Ignore the Vote, Focus on What Matters in Your Perfect Marriage
By Ann Keeler Evans
The passing of Prop 8 in California was a crushing blow for human rights and for the understanding of Love’s ability to transform and elevate people. As a sociologist, I see this is as the last gasp of the dinosaur. As a wedding celebrant and a human being I am disappointed in people’s narrowness and fear. Love is so much bigger than fear. I believe it will be changed, but we don’t know when. So, what’s the best thing to do?

I think the best thing ordinary gay couples can do to move marriage rights forward, as both personal action and political, is to continue to get married. Call it a wedding. Call it a marriage. Don’t get married in a hasty wedding ceremony. Plan your wedding with great attention to your wedding vows, your wedding ceremony, and your community. Let the reception take its cue from that. These are difficult times. You need your commitment to love and honor one another as you weather the discrimination.

Wedding Vows First: (This is as crucial to your marriage as it is to any marriage. Get your vows right for you.)

Why are you getting married to your partner?
What do the two of you hope to accomplish with your marriage?
How do your long-term goals fit together? What are your shared goals?
What promises are you willing to offer as you stand with your beloved before your community.
Wedding Ceremony Next: First, find a celebrant or minister who understands that Gay Marriage is Marriage. Then, create a ceremony that:

Talks about the Power of Love to enable us to make commitments to one another, a power that cannot be restricted or contained by the law.
Understands the evolution of marriage from the chattel laws and financial transaction that it once was and emphasizes the need for marriage’s continued evolution.
Focuses on why you and your partner enhance one another’s lives.
Showcases your wedding vows and solicits your community’s support.

Pay Attention to the Community because they have very important roles:

They have shaped and formed you with their love and guidance.
They will be in your life to celebrate and support your marriage from this day forward.
They are invited as witnesses to your commitment with the responsibility to support you in your marriage and gay marriage as marriage in the world.

Don’t forget the Legal aspects:

See your lawyer. Protect yourselves and your families.
Create a marriage covenant. It should include the following: your vows, signed by you; the marriage pronouncement, signed by the celebrant; and your community’s statement of witness and support, signed by the community. Display it on your wall. Not only does it remind you what you have promised one another, it’s a public document. Legal? Not yet.
Then, pick your date, plan your party, invite your loved ones and celebrate this amazing person you love and your wonderful relationship. And consider asking your straight friends, and your religious establishments to consider a moratorium on marriage until the world changes.

Bottom Line?: Give your relationship the chance it deserves to succeed wildly, against all odds! After all, you deserve it. Your relationship deserves it! And now I’d like to invite you to sign up to receive 2 free templates for creating the wedding ceremony of your dreams, the wedding vows of your heart and the marriage of a lifetime: http://annkeelerevans.org/weddings/free

Online Parenting Magazines - Find Parenting Tips Online
By Wendy Pan
With the internet access that is available today, it is no wonder that so many magazines are available to read online. It used to be, that if you wanted to read a magazine, you had to purchase it from the store and bring it home to read. Now, you can read your favorite magazine anytime - online. It’s free, it’s easy, and it’s the way people read magazines, and other forms of media, today.

Parenting magazines have become more and more popular over the years, helping new parents, and old-pros alike, get through the child-rearing years. There are personal stories in parenting magazines, from parents who find themselves in the same predicaments, parents that may have the same questions as the readers, tips from the experts, and advertisements for the latest products in parenting. All this info is at your fingertips today, rather than only waiting for you at the store. The Parenting Magazines online are just as informative, and just as interesting as if you had the magazine sitting in your lap. The online magazines are just another way of accessing the information. What’s nice, is if a parent has a question they want an answer to quickly, they have the ability to check, and cross reference several publications, all at once. And this way, a parent avoids having to purchase several different magazines at the store.

Another nice feature about Parenting Magazines online, is sometimes parents only want to read one of the articles they saw advertised in the magazine. With the magazines online, they don’t want to have to purchase the entire publication and feel like they wasted their money. That is why having access to the internet is helpful, you can simply type in the name of the magazine you are interested in, and instantly, you have the ability to read however much, or however little, you want. You can even go back again and again, or read other, updated articles, all without having to make the trip to the local store to do it.

Some of the Parenting Magazines that are found online are:

* Parenting and Baby Talk
* Pregnancy
* Baby Namer
* Baby
* The Sleep Solution

And many more….

The internet opens up a whole world to people who want fast, easy, and cost efficiency ways of accessing publications. We can find just about anything there is on the web, even answers to our parenting questions, which is wonderful, especially since parents do not always want to, nor have the ability to jump in the car and run to the closest store to buy the magazine they want to read. Why go through all the trouble when the ability to read-up on all the latest news in parenting is right at your fingertips? Online Parenting Magazines are a great way to help those busy parents who can barely find the time to take a shower.

What Are the Effects of Single Parenting? - Surviving As a Single Parent
By Wendy Pan
There are studies on top of studies depicting the horrible, poverty stricken, drug laced life a single-parent child will inevitably face. Whether it is father-only homes, or mother-only homes, we hear of the awful challenges destined to fill the lives of these poor children. Are the reports really true? What are the real effects of single parenting?

The Effects of Single Parenting on the Parent

Stressful is the first word most used to describe the life of a single parent But what are the actual effects of single parenting on the parent? Whatever situation has brought them to this point of being solely responsible for the care and upbringing of a child is already stressful in itself. Add to that the responsibilities of paying bills, working full-time or going to school, and then dinner, dishes and baths at the end of the day can leave a parent emotionally and physically drained. A single parent faces challenges that two-parent families can’t imagine. A very true example is one of the single parent becoming ill. All that is required of the family is still required. The children still need to eat, to go to school, to get to football practice and gymnastics class. They still need help with the homework and getting their clothes ready for the next day. The single parent has no one to fill in, to help. Health issues can certainly become a part of the difficult equation of single parenting, again, escalating the level of stress and the ability to meet the needs of the children. The biggest difference between men and women as single parents is that most fathers worry about being able to “keep in touch” with their child; being able to meet their emotional needs. Mothers stress over being able to meet the needs of her 9 to 5 and the needs of her family.

The Effects of Single Parenting on the Children

Social problems, lower academic achievement, and unacceptable behavior are just a few of the issues that our teachers face on a day to day basis more so with children from single-parent homes than not. The stress level of these children is astronomical. Our educational system expects these children to come to school and leave their home life behind, and with that expectation brings added stress levels in children too young to handle it, which in turn, returns home with them at the end of the day.

These children can suffer from everything from depression to psychosis. Not solely because a mother or father is absent from the home, blame cannot lie wholly upon this situation, but the effects of single parenting can and have definitely influenced the life and living of men and women well into their adult lives, and sadly enough, into their own families as well.

What Can be Done?

It is so very important for single parents to reach out for help. Churches, hospitals and doctors, and yes, even Child Welfare offices have the resources to help with the stresses, both emotionally and physically, that go with the responsibilities of raising children alone. But it’s up to the parent to realize and acknowledge that they need help, to realize that they aren’t alone in the fight to keep their family happy, healthy, and together. Admitting that help is needed is not an admission of failure, but of life; a life of hope and love and success for the parent as well as the children.

Don't be Alone in Life!

For Skinny Guys Who Want to Pick Up Chicks
By Cheng Kee
You return to sit with your mates, tail between your legs, and feeling the coldness of the girls’ shoulders having been shot down again. Your mates are half-consolatory, half-relieved that they didn’t try chatting up the girls. Why doesn’t anyone seem to be noticing that you’ve been working out? Your muscle routine worked for a while, you can see the results in the mirror, but it disappears once you put a shirt on. You need more muscle. You can get it if you have more of three things in your muscle routine.

Muscle Routine Requirement #1: High Intensity, Heavy Weights

There are many different ways that people use weights. Some females lift light weights to burn off fat to tone their arms, some people use weights for cardio. If you want to gain lean muscle, you want to lift heavy weights at a high intensity. This will force your muscles to grow bigger so that they are able to withstand the force that’s applied to them when you work out. It’s sort of like being in a room full of people who talk about golf. You leave the room, feeling like you know that much more about golf, more than you could have done on your own. It takes an external force sometimes to help things grow faster.

Muscle Routine Requirement #2: Sleep.

You sleep to recover from a workout, yes, but what you might not know is that you also sleep to allow your muscle to grow after a significantly high intensity workout. Try viewing your muscle workout as parabolic curve: you start and keep climbing and climbing, until you hit the maximum. If you keep on working out beyond the top, you will decrease the amount of muscle you put on. You have to stop working out once you hit that maximum point (muscle overload) and sleep so that your muscles can grow. Only then will you be able to “climb bigger mountains”.

Muscle Routine Requirement #3: Food.

Everyone knows to some extent the crazy amount of food that bodybuilders eat to supply enough energy for their workout needs. Fortunately, don’t have to eat like them to gain lean muscle. All you have to do is focus on readily absorbable protein-rich foods. The most readily absorbable ones are natural fruits and legumes. The notorious raw egg drink is the preferred choice of many bodybuilders because of its fast absorption. Don’t go for supplements… yet. Consult some experts who know what they’re talking about before being hypnotized by the fitness industry into buying the next best miracle supplement.

A good muscle routine should contain information about these three things in quite a lot of detail. You should now have an idea why your muscle routine was not helping you capitalize on your body. If someone talks about food, sleep and high intensity weight lifting, you know they’re the ones to reach for your muscle gain issues. Now get looking for a good muscle routine! Unless you like being female repellent, that is.

Confident men have optimised muscle routine programs. Their bodies are testimonies to the hard work they’ve put into their bodies; their success with women is attributed to a powerful self-perception of their body. Being skinny doesn’t mean you’re doomed to a single life, these three men didn’t let it get to them. They conquered the obstacles that were preventing them from building lean muscle and share it daily with thousands of hopeful hardgainers who realize they can finally gain lean muscle properly. If you being having a demi-god body is important for your confidence, click here.
